Job in Athens
Structural support was needed across an 18-foot ceiling span and upper floor, so we removed the existing beam and installed multiple LVL beams with a center post. We added LVL framing support, repaired and installed drywall in the living room and upstairs hall, replaced the trim, and primed and painted.

A deteriorating roof needed a complete, high-performance replacement to withstand the elements. We removed the old asphalt shingles and installed 86 squares of high-end architectural laminated shingles. Just had our roof replaced and I’m really happy with how it all went. The crew was professional, efficient, and easy to deal with the whole time. They showed up when they said they would, worked hard, and left everything looking clean when they completed the job. We are very satisfied and would definitely use them again.
My husband and I purchased a home in Athens and the inspector said it needed some work, we were okay with that. HJ Construction came highly recommended. We called Hector and he came out with Cary to look and bid the work that needed to be done. Let’s just say it was ALOT more than the inspection showed. Hector and his crew did an AMAZING job bringing our house up to code , and we ended up doing almost a complete remodel with them. This is now my dream home, not just a house that needed some repair. We have more we want to do and WILL NOT HESITATE to call Hector and his crew again, when the time comes. Thank you so very much and your professionalism is beyond excellent. Thanks again, Calvin and Cindy
Quoted a new roof and was able to put it on the next day! Very Professional and pleasant to work with.
These guys did great work on a large drywall job for me. Hector was careful to make sure all the details were right and was very responsive when I had questions.
We had HJ construction build our forever home. They did a great job. No problems. A great company to work with A++
We had another great experience with HJ Construction! The team from HJ Construction was on time and knocked the job out in no time. Additionally, they identified a couple of other minor items that needed attention and addressed them while they were onsite. We were once again pleased with the craftsmanship and attentiveness given to our project.
I used HJ construction for a new front porch build. They nailed it! Loved the work that they did. All of my neighbors love it, too. Will definitely use them again for all my building projects. Cary was awesome to work with and answered all my questions and fixed any problem that I had. If you need any work done call them!
